Your Mission

Do you want to help shape the future of Söderhamn? As a land and development engineer, you will have a unique opportunity to follow and take an active role in the entire community building process – from land acquisition to development and sale of development areas.

You are the crucial link in the community building process, from land acquisition to detailed planning and implementation phase to long-term operation and management. You see the big picture and create conditions for sustainable development by connecting all parts of the process. You will become a key person in the municipality's work to create attractive living environments, as well as conditions for the development of housing and businesses.

In this role, you will act as a project manager for development projects and serve as a professional client responsible for budget and implementation. You will work closely with the detailed planning process and have contact with contractors, authorities, and the public.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, unpretentious, and finds solutions that benefit the whole. You are structured and analytical with the ability to drive projects forward, have good communication skills, and are confident in negotiations.

Workplace Description

Operational community building is one of four areas within the Community Service sector. Within the operational community building area, there are authority, detailed planning, mapping, measuring, and GIS, management of the municipality's assets, and project office.

Your Competence

Academic education in land development, community building, surveying, or property law, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

We would like you to have experience in land and development issues, detailed planning, and project management.

A valid driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English are required.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
